Ops Current text messages

Ops Current is a field service software platform operated by BetterData LLC. Service businesses use it to run their scheduling and send appointment updates to their customers, and some of those text messages are sent through a shared Ops Current phone number on the business’s behalf. Every message names the business it is from.

The Ops Current Service Notifications Program sends appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule changes, and technician on-my-way and arrival updates. It does not send promotional or marketing messages. Message frequency varies based on appointments, service activity, and customer interactions. Message and data rates may apply.

You receive these messages only if you gave the service business permission — usually by agreeing when you called to book or request service, or through a form or written confirmation. Consent is never a condition of buying anything, and giving a business your phone number is not by itself permission to text you.

To start receiving texts from a particular business, ask that business directly. We can’t turn messages on for you here, because permission is given to a specific business rather than to Ops Current.

Stopping the texts does not cancel an appointment, job, or service request. To change or cancel scheduled work, contact the service business directly.
