Ops Current SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 16, 2026
Last updated: August 16, 2026
These terms describe the text messages Ops Current sends on behalf of the service businesses that use our platform — what they contain, how you started receiving them, and how to stop them. They are written to be read, not decoded.
Program name and operator
This messaging program is the Ops Current Service Notifications Program. It is operated by Ops Current, a field-service software platform operated by BetterData LLC (“Ops Current,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Messages are sent through Ops Current on behalf of the service business you requested or scheduled work with. SMS and MMS messages may be transmitted by Twilio, which provides messaging infrastructure to Ops Current as a service provider.

What this program sends
This program sends transactional, non-promotional messages about service you requested or scheduled. Expected message categories are:
- appointment confirmations;
- appointment reminders;
- schedule changes;
- technician on-my-way and arrival updates;
- service-request acknowledgements;
- customer-service messages related to active jobs, appointments, or requests.
Each message is sent on behalf of the applicable service business using Ops Current, and identifies that business. Ops Current does not send promotional or marketing text messages through this program.
How you enroll and give consent
You receive messages from this program only after you provide affirmative consent through the applicable service business’s disclosed opt-in flow — for example an unchecked SMS consent checkbox on a request, booking, scheduling, or appointment form, or another documented consent method that business uses.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Providing a phone number by itself is not consent to receive text messages; enrollment requires the affirmative opt-in described above.
If you believe you received a message in error, please contact the service business named in the message. That business collects and keeps the record of the consent it relies on.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on appointments, service activity, and customer interactions. Message and data rates may apply.
Any charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan, not from Ops Current or the service business.
How to stop messages (STOP)
To stop receiving text messages from the applicable sender, reply STOP at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from that sender unless you opt in again through an available consent process.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel an appointment, job, or service request. STOP stops the messages and nothing else. To change or cancel scheduled work, or to ask an urgent question about your service, contact the service business directly by phone, email, or another method it offers.
Help and support (HELP)
For help, reply HELP or contact Ops Current at support@opscurrent.com.
Messages may arrive from a shared Ops Current platform number or, for some service businesses, from that business’s own dedicated number used for two-way messaging through the platform.
- Replies to the shared Ops Current number are not monitored. Replying there returns an automatic response directing you to contact the service business, because a shared number carries messages for more than one business.
- Replying HELP to a service business’s dedicated number returns that business’s contact information.
Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information — including mobile numbers and messaging information — is collected, used, and protected.
Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are not sold, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose limited information to service providers, such as Twilio, only as needed to deliver, support, and secure these messages.
Eligibility, availability, and changes
This program is available to recipients who can receive SMS messages in the United States. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network availability, and messages may be delayed or undelivered for reasons outside our control.
Ops Current may modify or end this program where permitted by law. Changes will be posted to this page, or otherwise communicated where required.
